Appropriate Technology India (AT India) was founded in 1994 as one of the earliest societies in the Central Himalayan Region. Born during India’s economic liberalization, AT India carried a revolutionary vision: to prove that environmental conservation and livelihood enhancement can thrive together.For three decades, we have worked to ensure that remote mountain communities are not left behind, building sustainable pathways where nature and people grow hand in hand.
